Default series 1 wont start

just bought another series 1 not ran it for a week went out to start it and the starter just clicks plenty of battery and started ok untill no but it does have a stupid push button start wired to the starter motor anyone help p.s the starter looks quite new

sound like solenoid wire ,just to eliminate flat battry try it with jump leeds,if not then bridge the push button switch,if not that run a wire direct to the solenoid on the starter

tryed different batterys another starter taken the push button out and fixed the wireing the single wire to the selonoid have voltage when i try to turn it over but still same problem

iirc normally theres 1 direct from battery to 1 of the gearbox to engine bolts and usually 1 from engine/gearbox to the body

a easy check for earth lead faults is get a jump lead straight from earth on battery to the engine, lifting eye or something suitable.

also does your car start with a bump start?

check engine isnt seized, if its fine replace the starter...if there's voltage at the wires to the starter then it can only be that.

cant se why the engine is siezed there is voltage to the starter but have tryed a different one and it still does the same
