Camshaft Selection
Hi all, im after some advice please. Im looking to push my RS Turbo to about 200bhp. The route im looking to take to achieve is the following:
MSD evolution 195 chip
Beige Injectors
-31 Actuator
Uprated Fuel Pump
Hybrid T3 Turbo
Airtec Front mount Intercooler
Scorpion exhaust
K&N Filter
Cam??
Vernier Pulley
Im stuck on which camshft choice to go for. I know there are a few on the market, but which is likely to get me where i want to be??

standard ford mate, or a newmans but these are a bit of a pain with the solid lifters. Kent and piper have great profiles but the quality of the cam blanks are pretty poor meaning that they tend to fail mor often than not. Ive had 3 kent's 1 of which failed after 1000miles, and I ran it in porperly. Luck of the draw, im going for 250bhp and I will be starting off with a standard ford item so I will see how I get on with that.
Cam choosing is a very opinionated subject on the forums, I think its down to personal preference and how the person likes to drive their cars

cheers for the advice fella. Was leaning towards the newmans, fitting wont be a problem, and i'll make sure its done properly with all the right parts. Will use a vernier to make sure its dialed in properly
