Default Zetec turbo breather drilling

Hello,

Put this in the tech section but thought id get more response here...

I'm at the stage where I need to sort out the breather for the block. I have sent the sump to Ian Howell to install the turbo drain so thats sorted. I have focus RS pistons and rods, inlet sorted and ERST exhaust manifold with cossie T3. I dont really wan to drive the block to lincoln to Ian just for this job so...

How difficult is it to do the block and what do you use as a stub, where do you get the stubs.

Any help gratefully received.

Mart

hi give ian a bell and ask him to send you some stubs down or ask him what thread size he uses and get some made at an engineering firm near you and drill them out yourself nice slow speed and buy some treflex tapping paste when your tapping, dont go to big on the drill bit either
about 1mm small than the tap size
hope this help
cheers paul

Is there anywhere specific I should be drilling? is it better on the thicker place or on the thinner wall?

I will email Ian as well as he still has the sump yet.

Thanks for the help

Can some off you describe where you put the breather hoses in the block?
