Just coming to replace ny amal valve with a known working second hand one to make sure i put "this one" on correctly because i am unsure if the one thats on is fitted right i need to know what the lettering on the amal valve represents.

There is and R C W on the valve so what do these letters represent as to where the hoses go i, below is a pic so you can see what i mean

 

R= Return to metering unit
C=Compressor Housing (turbo)
W=Wastegate (Actuator)

 

just did that combination and my boost is through the roof hit 20 psi very briefly and i poohed and backed off, although i will say my boost is coming in a lot quicker

 

Then your actuator is wound too far in!!!!
