can you apply for a log book if you only have the reg number.

i work at a motor factors and so we use hpi all the time to know what details are on cars, if i have any reg then i can get the chassis no. in theory, let me know if you need help, cheers

you can apply with just the reg number or you could about 3 years back,may have changed now though.

Anybody can apply for a log book for any car, of course checks will/should be made to ascertain ownership by dvla.
