2wd 283mm cossie discs, I had to file the carrier brackets in a couple of areas to get the best fit

yes i've read the stickied at the top, yes im useing std 2wd cossie disc 283mm, i know i may have to file a bit off in places and use a spacer between the carrier and caliper, just didnt want to start the job and find out the hoses are to short!!!

in all honesty if you just buy the brackets that allow you to push your origional caliper out to accept the cossy disc then you'll save some money and imo it brakes better like that too.

The piston in the 4x4 calipers are bigger hence better braking, worked awesome on mine with £12 pads!

My personal oppinion - I dont like this, it still gives you the same brake pad surface area, just with a wider circle to brake upon. I dont like the idea of the bracket either, they are ok on the back as there is a lot less braking to be done, but on the front in my humble oppinion the calipers need to be mounted directly on the hub.

That's not to say you are wrong, each to their own.

Any yes, the cossie caliper is bigger, as is the piston, but the same ammount of force is applied to the piston by the M/C. But there is much more brake pad surface area, much more.

But to answer to your original question, as stated, you can use your original hoses!
