My personal oppinion - I dont like this, it still gives you the same brake pad surface area, just with a wider circle to brake upon. I dont like the idea of the bracket either, they are ok on the back as there is a lot less braking to be done, but on the front in my humble oppinion the calipers need to be mounted directly on the hub.
That's not to say you are wrong, each to their own.
Any yes, the cossie caliper is bigger, as is the piston, but the same ammount of force is applied to the piston by the M/C. But there is much more brake pad surface area, much more.
But to answer to your original question, as stated, you can use your original hoses!
