need to change my stem seals has the head got to come off,
also how much do they cost and any other parts i need thanks

 

Nope, get yourself a CVH valve spring compressor and you won't need to have the head off. Cost about £7 from Burtonpower. Stem seals cost about the same for a full set IIRC. Cheap and easy to do but don't drop your valve collets down the oil drains or it's sump off time...

set off ebay for 3.50!make sure u get the top hat ones!quick tip, when u compress it to get the collets out, put the piston to the top stops it dropped and makin it harder to get them out!

 

yeah as above do cylinders 1 & 4 together then 2 & 3 just make sure pistons are up ! should take bout an hour.

 

lol yeah definitely make sure the pistons are up when you do this, I *nearly* got a valve stuck when I did my stem seals...

 

will do im buying the set today to fit the weekend
