my new erst has a mongoose s/s exhaust just wanted to how good they are as all iv had in the past is scorpion s/s

 

mongoose are the BEST

 

to put it bluntly, mongoose literally piss excellence

 

got a mongoose on mine an its the bollocks! Scorpion exhausts are what you put on your corsa or clio etc, pony mate

 

scorpion works fine had one on my 2.1zvh no trouble at all and sounds the blolocks on boost.

 

i had a magnex on mine which i like but the mongoose i loved more just gave that little more louder gurgle

 

iv got magnex on my frst and it sounds shit! mongoose are the ball locks

 

ive had magnex, mongoose and have scorpion at the mo as it was on the car when i bought it

id go for mongoose

 

the mongoose is def louder on boost and on tick over i had to keep looking at it at first as i was thinking it was blowing lol

 

scorpion best sound on boost.mongoose sounds nicer on tickover.(very burbly)magnex too quiet IMO

 

i have a mongoose with the baffles cut out
loud but nice burbles nice on tick and backpops beautifully

 

Mongoose is true boyracer choice
I have 2.5" Mongoose with 4" out and 1 extra 30cm length silencer in the middle section of the exhaust system. Exhaust sound is simply too loud for everyday use. You have to wear ear protectors at the highway. My car is not in everyday use, and i think i have to replace mongoose with some other more silent option.

IMO mongoose sound the best but dont fit as well as say scorpion or magnex, i have a 3.5 mongoose and have had nothing but trouble with it scrapping the floor, where on my previous rst's i have had scorpions and magnex and never had this problem, sorry mongoose do sound nice but its got to be scorpion or magnex for me.

 

Mongoose abit too loud for me,but sounds fine.

 

Never had 'power' problems with my scorpion whatever people say, i really don't think a mongoose is gonna give you another 20bhp lol and it sounds lovely on boost imo.
