Hi

I want to put a permanent under bonnet FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE on the METERING HEAD of my Escort RS TURBO S2.

Something like this:




Maybe I could fit it removing this blanking plug on the metering head?? In the previous image seems to be fitted in the cold start valve fueling plug........Not used in this engine?




Anyone know what items I need to buy for full installation (Gauge and adaptors) and where to buy them online??

Have you tried think automotive? they would be able to sell you any adaptors and gauge line you would need just give them a call and explain what you want, although you would need to identify what thread the metering head is first.

there should be the stuff you need on there, although i'm sure you'll need it to be inline with the main fuel feed. i cant think how it would work how you want it to in any other way.

auto specialists sell braided fuel line though so you can chop one and fit it inline maybe?

I have found a fuel pressure gauge + adaptor, but the problem is that I don´t know the thread the metering head blanking plug where the adaptor will go............
Does anyone know the thread size??

This fuel pressure gauge + adaptor is designed to be fitted on the fuel filter...........
