just about got my car sorted finally and will be going to get a setup as its been apart then put back together..anyway, what i want to know is there anything i could do/check to make sure it runs as good as possible until it gets sorted by a pro? i have set the ignition timing as accurate as possible with a timing gun (crap but best i had)..i know the tps will need adjusting? can i do this at home? anything else to look at that can be easily sorted or adjusted? thanks in advance people

 

They charge by the hour so just get 2 hours on the rollers and let them do it.

 

thats what im planning to do, but want to get it as best i can before then as i will most probably have to drive it there...approx 150 miles to get there

 

as long as it moves i wouldnt worry about it. cos anything you do they might undo/change on the rollers.

 

just drive off boost if it runs
