Default Came out to find this this morning!!!!!Update who can repair for me?

Not happy when i heard a massive bang this morning, jumped out of bed and saw my neighbour stood by my car scratching his head and my car alarm screaming its head off!!!

Well thanks for that mate! He is actually one of the nice neighours and said he'd pay for it all just tell him how much it costs. cant say fairer than that.
So i now need a Door if anyone has one but please a great condition in mercury grey.
Pm me or phone 07870163689.

Shit thing to happen mate, atleast it wasn't the rear quarter tho.

Have you tried popping the dent out? You might get away wil that and a little paint.

It sucks, but at least it looks like the damage is entirely restricted to the door.

getting a good door the same colour shouldnt be too hard hopefully,i was at a tyre garage last month, parked 2 meters behind a junkies dealers impreza,he was acting mad because he was off his face,he walked between the cars to get into his,he then reversed right back and broke my bumper in half(mk6 escort with eggshell bumpers),he said he would pay but i had to chase him and go into his drug den of a house to get £40 out of him.1 of the worst experiences of my life.that was good of your neighbour to own up,many wouldnt.

Right after scowling the country yesterday to try and find a door to get a quick fix i have realised that my car is alot minter than i thought and that people will lie to get you to travel 180miles round trip to look at a complete rusty, scratched, mullered P.O.S. Why do people have to say something is mint when it quite blatently not!!!
Car is now going through next doors insurance to be repaired, will they repair it or write it off??? I phoned ford and a new door is £310 inc Vat!!! thats before any body work???
Who can be recomended to repair this through his insurance as i will be telling them where it will be going.

Most of that dent looks like it will just pop out?

could you not just take the car to a decent panel beater to repair the door?

The door will certainly not repair as easy as people might think, it certainly wont just pop out. If you do go ahead with a repair it will most likly be easy notcieable, large area, flat surface and swage lines cutting through it......it will look like the himalayas with a repair. If you took it to a bodyshop that spent them time to get it looking right it would outweigh the cost of the new door.
Id say if your worried about it being written off continue to look for a 2nd hand door, even if its in the wrong colour aslong as it not dinged it'll work out cheaper.

Will need the whole side of the car painting .Mercury grey is not an edge to edge colour.
Get a secondhand door,go to a bodyshop and for them to hang it and paint it £400 all in.

As someone said above,a good job it wasn,t the rear qtr.
