i posted a few months back about the lack of redline mag's in the local shops, seems that they've run out again

i haven't even got my subscription copy, it's 10 days late now

anyone else found that it's sometimes "missing" from the shelves?

 

Mine hasn't turned up yet.

 

they've probably givn the copies to that part of the royal mail that doesn't work on days with a Y in them

 

Subs copies should have turned up by now! Call the mag and ask them if they can help.

As for availability in the shops - A lot of mags have reduced their stocking in independents to help with their efficiency (copies printed in relation to copies sold) so it may not be in the same places that it was say 6 months ago.

 

I get Redline from the little Co-Op shop round the corner from work every month.

WH Smith also does it.

I have no problem with any of the 9 magazines I buy religiously every month and I live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere.

The magazines I buy every month without fail are:

-Fast Ford
-Performance Ford
-Classic Ford
-Retro Ford
-Performance BMW
-Total BMW
-BMW Car
-Retro Cars
-Redline

All of which being "specialist" publications, and the last time I had difficulty with any of them was when Retro Ford was first released. I couldn't get isssue 2 or 3 IIRC

 

have you tried getting a copy of ppc?
that's another one that's very hard to get hold of as it's only available in some teco's and some whsmiths

i shall phone in the morning i'm assuming the number will be in the front of last months mag

 

I sometimes buy PPC if I see something in it that tickles my fancy. It's always in my small local Smiths
