Who is best to use i already have standard cover for the road but am looking into a policy to cover me for 5-6 track days a year im 28 an the cars a road legal modded mk2 golf 16v many thanks......

Greenlight do offer track cover via some of our schemes, but we would have to be covering the vehicle under an annual performance/modified car policy to be able to add track cover, which from what you mention looks as though you've got the standard road aspect covered.

If your'e looking for stand alone trackday cover, competition car Insurance or Everitt Boles (http://www.moris.co.uk/) would be able to help.

try a company called "David Auden" they are brilliant! insured me for full competition use (on rallys), 2000 non-comptetitive miles (second car) although im sure you could get a 10,00 policy, just turned 21, on a nova, with ALOT of modifications all covered for... admitiedly on rally use, but im sure they would cover track days

£400 all in!!! they mirrored my no-claims on my road car and add any extra to the policy over the coming years! only a small family run company, but seem to insure alot of rally cars around the midlands! HTH

Tony ive only just started the policy & am paying monthly so i could possibly cancel it if you could come up with a decent quote including the track cover ? i have 2 years ncb to go against the golf i also have 6 years on a seperate policy for my bora but i take it that wouldnt really be a consideration?... I also have a 3rd car sat at the minuite uninsured its only my little run around but i have no ncb to go with a 3rd policy maybe theres a way of adding that in? The cars a citroen zx 1.9d ... many thanks Ross
