Anyone here used it??

want to get some to block 2 holes on a fuel regulator housing, will it be ok to use with petrol and under 4 bar pressure, or whatever it is???

also, could it be used to stick a nut to me exhaust for a sparkplug to go in for a flamer kit??

i cant see that stuff is good enough for what you want to use it for

My brother used liquid metal to fix a crack in the crank case on his bike He also used that and a bit of a biro to fix a water leak in his mate's merc

Needless to say he's not allowed within a mile of my car.

Americans use this JB-Weld stuff which might be ok for your exhaust? i say just take it to an engineering place they'll do it for next to nothing!

i got a barb welded onto my tank for a couple of quid, good weld too!

 

Fix a crack? I built up a chunk taken out of the crankcase of my blade that was about the size of a 10 pence piece

Good stuff.

If it takes to the surface of the metal cleanly it's solid as fook.

Can be drilled, filed what ever.

Personally I'd choose welding for the flamer kit nut and wouldn't like to trust the chemical metal under pressure with fuel.

That could be a nasty fire!

 

yeah, well i gotta get some ally welding done anyway so ill get fuel reg done too

but i need the car all the time so i cant really take backbox off and get it welded lol, and dont fancy driving round with a hole in it lol

 

should only take them 10 minutes surely?
