Non-domestic rates are what business have to pay, like council tax you pay for houses. Only thing with non-domestic rates is you get less for the money, no bins emptyed etc!

Not sure what world these twats are in. Country is in the shite, business going bust everyday, unemployment is riseing, yet lets wack up business rates by 20%!! WTF

Yes the rates are set by the local councils, I bet there are no councils that dropped there rates though. Has anyone else recived their new rates yet?

council tax is 3% iirc? But our council putting another 2% on top of that

Think our council is one of the highest in country for council tax, robbing twats
