hi there could anybody tell me which oil is best to use in my turbo?

every1 on here says them oils but in da book it says 10 40s why does no 1 use dat

Engines are over 20 years old so things are a bit 'slack' unless it's been freshly rebuilt, also unless your running standard boost the oil will be getting a lot hotter than it was when Ford spec'd it for the car so you need a oil that will deal with thoses temps and not thin out too much! Hence the upgrade from 40 to 50.

thanks peeps went for mobil one 15w 5o am havung my car done by odd kidd creations so he advised to use that.
