Have Blown Turbo on my Fiesta turbo.
Can i fit a T3 and if so, what other mods do i need to do?
Or do i get T2 refurbed.
Have a Standard cam at the moment,but dilema,Kent or Piper?
Kent CVH36 or Piper285/T2.
I have a stage 1 Chip,Blue injectors,Scorpion Exhaust sytem,Pipercross filter.
Running OFAB.

 

if you change the turbo you will need a chip to sute also if you fit the turbo from an escort you will need the T-pice from the back of the block the oil feed pipe the manifold and the oil drain in the block will need to be changed as its different on the efi lumps compaired to the mfi engines

also a custom down pipe will need to be made up.

as for the cam stick with the standared set up

 

fit the t3 m8,they'r cheaper,your need the turbo escort manifold and down pipe,your need to uprate your intercooler if you havent already,fit a 31 actuator too for more boost.........if you click fiesta turbo.com they will go though it in great detail,you need a few more bits,carnt think what they are tho.....cam wise i have a k cvh 35..
not bad cam imo.....but your choice......

 

deffo go for t3 but as said you will need a new chip, get some beiges aswelland standard cam unless you can afford a newman

 

why keep the standard cam?? are they better

 

most reliable i fitted a cam im my old van kept knocking out lifters soon went back to standard

 

ok it just am building my frst at the mo and it has a t3.chip scorpion exhust. standard cam hope its ok

 

make sure you have got a good oil presure and imo change the lifters every now and then as you can pick them up cheep enouth
