Default What's the name of the black metal panel that runs behind the battery in a saph?

Looks like it bolts in to the bulkhead, mines is all scabby and I'd like to ask if anyone has broken a car with a better one on it, but i don't know what to ask for...

take yours off, get it shot blasted and powder coated or painted!?

Only cos I dont know what they are called

Lol I did think of that but I'd probably get one that doesn't need painted for a tenner or less so better off just binning the old one.

i've got a whole set, but it's going to cost you more than a tenner to get them to oop northern without getting bent along the way

You take a shot blaster anywhere near these and you would be collecting the remains in a bucket!!
They rust terribly and if like 20+ years old, I would just find the best one you can and paint that, my scrappy charged me £3 for one, not perfect.
I used the scrappy one, and my existing one cut them up welded together spent a day and now have a perfect one.

"Bulkhead panel" was the closest thing i could thing of aswell, can't seem to find anything on ebay of that description though.

In Fordspeak its called an 'air chamber closing' I got one a couple of months ago from fordpartsuk.com it was about £50 iirc, its finis code 1648626, unless you have aircon then you will need a 3 piece one.

they still sell um,had to get 1 for my cos last year an it wasnt expensive
