My pug needs a new wing, crunches into 3rd and has bad clutch judder when warm.

Would it sell or shall I just scrap the fooker?

Sorn it and claim the 9 months tax back from the DVLA then scrap it. Dropping it off to the scrappers will get you more money, but then it also depends on the price of metal on the day. Ya gotta take into account that they will deduct weight for anything that aint 'money making metal' and different scrappers have different views.

Recently i got a MK3 Fiesta scrapped and got the guy to collect it. I got a whopping Ł40 for it - wow!

 

Might get the wing done for Ł30 then and flog it - Gotta be worth a few hundred I'd say..

Its 9 months MOT, not tax, I'd claim the tax back, also gotta get private plate off it!

 

Stick it on ebay , i had a knackered pug 306 on there and got Ł200 for it

 

Misread the Tax/MOT bit, sorry.

Most scrappers collect within an hour (quicker if desperate) so if ya do change ya mind, ya can get rid pretty quick!

Do what everyone else does, polish it, then stick it on ebay with 'slightly noisy gearbox' in the ad, and laugh when you get 500 quid for it
