Default anyone into making vans quicker, advice please

a lad at work has been looing into buying 1 of our old rental vans. we got citroen berlingo & peugoet partner. ive kinda talked him into either putting a vts/gti engine into which ever he gets. anyone seen 1 done or no were i can get info from?

it shouldnt be to hard lyk but wouldnt mind seeing 1 already done.

the 2 vans mentioned are ph1 both x reg.

I've not seen any myself but if you or you know anyone who is any good at fabricating mounts etc... in theory anything is possible. V6 would be different or a throttlebodied gti lump?. Would be cool to see if its done. Perhaps try http://www.205gtidrivers.com/ or http://www.106rallyeforum.com/forum2008/ see if anyones got some ideas.

its based on a 306/Xsara, so although a 106 or saxo engine would fit the GTI-6 engine is a much better bet. You'll need the fuel tank, pump(both only if its a diesel and I'm not sure if the 306/xsara stuff will fit on a partner/berlingo), engine, gearbox, ecu, loom, new fuel lines(if diesel) etc...

The Derv Doctor does some pretty impressive things with diesels, ill be looking at 165bhp with my 1.8 endura tdi by the time im done, so an hdi should be tunable too

on a 306/xsara? i thought they were based on a citroen saxo? as they have the same headlights & grill?, cheers for the info mate, its finding a good cheap gti 6 engine. we have a citroen peugeot breakers up here & forever getting vts/gti's in.

i no about changing fuel lines etc i just wouldnt ind seeing 1 already done.

you obviously aint been on here long pal have you, everyone has a passion for cars in general on here, the basis is ford yes but we talk about everything and help each other with everything (including home life money, decorating, pets, everything!!!!! , dont shoot him down so early cos it aint a fiesta he was talking about.
