are you getting power to the switch?
when you press the button, is there a signal sent to the other end of the wire that triggers the solinoid?

check that first

You've changed the 4-pin switch, but how about the contact side??

Try cleaning that with fine emery or wire wool??

You ever sort the problem?

Ive just bought a new green relay as one contact had slightly the fusebox. The new relay works only with the rad fan/heater fan/reverse light. But If I refit the other relay only the boot switch will work. The foglights won't work with either relay. Everything did work before I removed the green relay to check why my heater fan screeches

The new relay has a slightly different part number mind(I have yet to try ford direct).
