Might be restricted? 3500 in top gear would maybe be 75-80mph?

my vito is limited to 3.5k in first and often wondered if a tuning box/chip would bypass the limiter ? obviously the extra power is of no interest to me

new shape transit 85/280
more power/torque
to get about quicker
from the looks of it it's a multi valve engine, quite different to the connect vans, which are 90 bhp units and feel much much quicker

what is there on offer for these?
will they be able to do it through the obd ports?
when they get serviced at ford will they be "found"?
how much £ for how much increase in power/torque?
will economy be affected?
is it worth using the "better/more expensive" diesel in a normal run of the mill van?

that sort of thing

we are getting some new vans and i'm not sure if they will have the 70 mph limiter on them, but they won't have the ford eco green dash illumination on them as we've already had them for a few weeks, 58 plates if that makes any difference, but the transit i'm after is originally from ireland, so does that make a difference to what sort of electronics it's got inside it?

which vito is it?
they all have different ratio's between the 109's the 111's and the 115's

we've run them all and, for the power the 111 seems to be the best compromise
