Default Stu's msd re maps

I am able to get one for the new mini cooper 's, if I fit wide band oxygen sensors on the exhaust will the new map take this into account or is the installer able to change the settings in the ecu, as the mini uses narrow band and throws the engine mnagement light on due to running a miltek 200cel cat ?

I hope this makes sence

You will need a decoder for the wideband to work with the standard ECU as the ECU is expecting a narrowband signal and not a wideband one

any wideband controller should be able to output a simulated narrow band signal but it won't help. it will still know that you have no cat fitted.

It has a sports cat fitted, instead of being a 400cell bmw item, its now a 200cell from miltek
