Default Bodge? or OK?

I'm not sure.

Anyway - just cut a piece of pipe to make up the fuel rail (jenvey throttle bodies). I started car it pissed fuel out of both ends.

Is it wrong to put sillicon around the ends, will it hold up to 4.5bar of pressure?

how come you cant use the proper alu pipe between the two halves of the rail??
they seal perfectly when cut to the proper length.

(im assuming you are on about the joint in the middle anyway??)

Silicone is crap anywhere on a car, Hylomar is fuel resistant, once cured but will not hold pressure.

I'm guessing this is the bit that slids in two o rings? If so then it must be the right external diameter.
