Default cossie - no spark or fuel pump buzzin HELP?

Hi, mates 3 door cossie decided to cut out today, no spark or fuel pump....what could be the prob?

Not sure if it will be the crank position sensor, think that has something to do with the others not working.

Not 100% though, sorry.

thanks Dave, i'll pass it on, i thought maybe a dodgy ECU earth, or dodgy ECU?

check the fuses for the relays on the loom too.. one blew on me s2 on L6 and killed the fuel pump

Quite possibly the earth,this happened on my saff iirc.

Got the AA out and found it, could give them a ring to say it has broken down.

Give the ecu a good mess with too., i.e. unplug it a few times .

hope you sort it.

turn ignition on, connect a small wire from the +12v side of the battery to the +12v side of the coil, and then crank it over
If it runs you have a relay or fuse gone down on the ignition switch side of the ecu or your alarm is playing silly buggers

only think i can think of that may make theses related is the relay or ecu, not much help, sorry

dunno think he was havin a look at it today but aint heard from him i'll txt him tommoz an tell him to give it a look, but no spark either so i got a feeling its the earth for the ECU....soon find oot tho, will let you know when i do

ok mate, not sure where it would be? i think on the cossie it might be in the boot under the spare wheel, if not in one of the foot wells behind the trim, drivers side i think
could be a burnt out rotor arm for the spark, or wanked coil/lead or wires to it?

hi mate

it's the igniton amp has pack up....it bolted on the inner wing beside the battery

this sends power to the pump
