Default URGENT! Zetec Oil Filter help?
Hi all, Does anyone know the type of Oil Filter I need for my Zvh as the ones at Halfords are all too long and the one on my ZVH in the Escort is only about 3" long, What's it off?
ASAP please peeps.

A 2wd cos filter is only about 3 in long and will fit zvh cvh no probs
finns 5024424 £4.30 +vat

Buy one from ford, as they come with a non return valve, so oil is kept in the top end, I think neway, especially for zetecs don't hold me to that though

a normal 1.6 CVH one is used i think, not 100% sure though, sorry

A mate of mine use's a 1.6 CVH one on his Zvh but he has a 1.8 oil pump he says that it you use the 2.0 oil pump its best to use a R5GTT filter

I've put the 2wd cossie one on, it all meats up but the filter seems to big, the bber seals are the same size, but the outer filter housing seams a bit big, drives allright though.

the zetec ones are longer than the cvh, but lucus list the zetec one for the FRST for some reason? know you have one know but may help others?
