Ive had many turbos in my day. But now im building a xr2 turbo. check out my pics of my old cars first in order of owning them.

heres my series 1 cab that i built. took me 15 months 2 build.





anyway enough of the past. heres my new project.





at this point i had striped down the underneath ready 4 a full restoration



here my messy engine with a 1.6 turbo lump (at the moment soon 2 b a 1.9 with cossie management)



heres 1 of my rear arches b4 i striped it down.



this 1 of my front arches ready 4 rubbin down.



this is the other arch ready 4 rubbing down.



this is the o/s/f drivers floor pan. found some rot so i cut it out ready 4 a new floor pan.





this is the n/s/f floor pan that had rot 2! so i cut this side out aswell.





heres sum pics of underneath after i had primered it up. went through bout 26 cans!

















heres what i used underneath, 3M seam sealer 4 the floorpans and front arches









Now its ready 4 paintin underneath. i used 2k ford gloss black.

Popped down fords 2day and got sum bits







hated the xr2 steering wheel so i got a fiesta turbo 1. check it out







Been down Fords and brought sum new bits

Also just got my water injection

Wow, thats stunning, your underside resto looks spot on. Any chance you could let me know how much your 3m sealant set you back and where you bought it from?

 

nice steering wheel was it hard to fit, did you have to cut anything away from the plastics?

 

why are u askign questions about your own car?

 

RS MONKEY. Soz mate me mate woz on ere using my i.d name. he woz takin the piss. the 3m seam sealer i got woz from southern suppliers. they where Ł9.50 each mate.

 

alrite mate what cossie management are you goin to be using?

 

alrite mate. im using L6 board 2wd loom and throttle body. modded fiesta xr2i inlet manifold., 1 of gagget top sensors, 3bar map sensor, group A cossie coil and 4 803's dark greens.

alrite LUKE89 i would like it 2b around 240 - 280 bhp. still got loads of bits 2 get yet. on the look out 4 intercooler at the mo. just waitin 4 me head 2 come bk aswell.

LOL looks familiar to me, had an XR2 to, and the fecking thing broke off, was like some one had cold feet...

 

Nah mate just tryin 2 replace everythin that i can. but the old 1,s were rusty tho.

 

LOL believe me, u don't want to loose one of those while driving, say saionara to your nice and quite little car

The things are sooo cheap, indeed i wouldn't let them lie around if the old ones where rusty

 

what water injection kit is that and how much did it cost

 

fcuking hell 240 - 280 bhp in a mk2 festa cool as fcuk

That looks really stunning mate, the other cars you had look great too, especially the s1 cab I love the escort mk3

The underside of the fiesta looks lovely, but how dit you get all the old stuff of the underside? I'm now busy with the underside but it take me ages to get rid of the old stuff

VICTOR. cheers 4 lookin mate. it took me 6 months 2 do the underneath. it took 4 ever! lol! but it woz well worth it. just scraped the old stuff off then rubbed it down with p80 preped it up then wet flat it with 1000 grit. then i seam sealed underneath. preped it again and flat it again. then 6 months later it woz ready 4 paintin.
