Try auto glym super resin polish also works well

i know its too late now but i always use Autoglym metal polish on all my stainless exhausts and it brought them up like new and took off all the black stuff on the tip no problem

yeah i use that aswell really good stuff will need to try that Meguiars nxt gen chrome cleaner see what its like iam a right picky fooker for cleaning

i can vouch for the meg's metal polish it is first class have used it on my old car and the current one on the exhaust system and a few chrome under bonnet stuff

AG's metal polish would be no good for the chrome as the particles are too hard for it and will scratch. I use AG's Super Resin Polish, but will now take a look at the Meguiars now...

i use ags metal polish. works well. it does scratch i noticed tonight when i cleaned my tanks. might look at merguias too.
