Alright guys looking for some info on engine oil capacity of a mk1 xr2, its a Aplate so does anyone know the capacity? Also may sound daft but the dip stick has a few marks on it not sure what to work to, it is flat with a small mark a third of the way up then a larger mark two thirds of the way up so am i just going for between these marks?, hope this makes sense and cheers for the help guys

 

about 4 litres or top of end mark dude

 

Yes those marks are the lower and upper levels.

Alright thanks for the help guys, davemark it isnt actually my car its a friend of a friend we had it out on sunday afternoon and it turned plenty heads, its sunburst red and pretty immaculate, the owner doesnt do "forums" but i will try to get some pictures up but it may take a while, we are in the process of trying to persuade him to take it to fordfair this year so heres hoping!

 

I too love the MK1 xr2, look well nice especially with the round h/lights american style.
