First one opened;

The one on the left is standard finish, the one on the right is 'hyper silver/shadow chrome'

Different angle

caps off

Bling finish

Classic finish

Bling finish

The hyper finish looks dark in some angles and chromey in others. It is almost like a flip tone finish.

whould like to see the new finish in real life, its just a shame they dont have rondell stamped on them, i know they are the same rims but some how they are not, if they had rondell on them i would have had a second set but realy i want 19" but with no spacers and a bling dish

Just to add to the confusion

I have purchased these wheels from RONDELL, as Engells no longer exist. We paid a large sum of money to Engells to commission them to re-make the wheels. They should have been with me 29th March 2004. They did n't show for months & months & months. We got suspicious and after a meeting with Rondell at the Automeckanica show in Frankfurt, we learned Engells had done a runner with the cash
Rondell told us that thay had not paid entirely for the mould from them either!!!
We asked Rondell if they would make them instead. they agreed so we gave them some fat cash too. We asked if they would have Engell or Rondell on the rims. We were told it would have nothing embossed on the rim as they would modify the mould for us.
The turned up made by Rondell, with an INVOICE from Rondell and badges from Rondell , but with Engells printed on the RIM!!!!
We phoned Rondell, who explained the mould was not in the best of shape as it was and to modify would cost Ł5000-10000, and investment we were not prepared to make (nor Rondell) as the run of wheels is very limited.

(Incidently the wheels were never ever made by Rondell or Engells)

the thing is they say ENGELS on them no matter who there made by not RONDELL thus meaning that people that have Rondells look upon these as been snide's. oh they do look well but i recon that second hand genuine rondells will still fetch more money for the name on them

Doesn't matter what name is on them to me, I think they look the nuts, if I get my escort back off the police I'll soon be down for a set of the crystal ones if they're still left.

Basically it was swapped for a stolen shogun, so the police have gone all gun ho and took it off me saying its got to be decided by a court who the owner legally is, even though (apparently) there is no comeback from a swap deal. The police suck ass seriously!!!! Its my birthday on the 8th as well when I turn 21, I was hoping to have it ready to roll on my 21st with all the usual chrome bits fitted, IC/RAD, tanks etc, not much chance of that now as the directions hearing is on the 24th and now I'm gonna have to wait for the court to set a date for the full hearing. Bummer
