Default Cosworth Experts Please......

Why is that on Sapph Cossies (possibly others i dont know) that the TPS is matched to the ECU.

What exactly does this mean? How are they matched?

What would be the implications of using a none matched pair?

Could anything be done to match them?

Cheers

there not matched m8 !!

the differance is that on levels 1 + 6 you use a pf01

and on levels 8 , and P8 you use pf09

the differance being that the scale that the ecu reads is reversed , one reads 0-5v the other reads 5-0v

Afraid not, it cant actually be mapped for perfect control as the PF01 goes open circuit at closed throttle and the PF09 cannot do that. That is the fundamental difference between the 2 sensors
