Default Saff handling

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this: If my rear brakes are binding (which they are pisser) would that have any bearing on understeer on round abouts or indeed cornering?

Also, I have now got my ap's and need to get them on (as the front calipers are shagged), but in the mean time i have spun the car in the rain twice now just under braking (scary) so i want to get it sorted. Obviously the ap's will bite loads harder but i want to make sure everything is 100% all round as i dont fancy swapping ends too much more!!

Cheers for any help, lets hope i dont wrap it!!

I got a set of recon 2wd saff rear calipers from Ford for £117. Look like brand new. Think this is the only solution for sticky back brakes.
