1 ltr engine conversion
hey there all, after 4 looonngggg months of slugging around in my lil mk3 ltr fiesta i think an engine upgrade is long over due.
ive done conversions before to my first fezzi but theres a few queries i have about my latest1
im thinking just a 1.3 ka conversion as on paper it seems the most sensibe option as to be honest i think its the limit for my 4 speed box, and as both are hcs enginge surely they have the same or at least very similar wireing loom, also if i think it will go in easly as i think it can, than it can be done in a day so


all round!!
my only worries are that the exhaust manifold off my 1ltr are different so will have the extra hassle of sorting one out, so are they all the same on the hcs???
also will a inlet manifold off a mk3 fezzi (HCS) 1.3 fit??
last but not least, wat engine mounts should i use???
oh, i am right in thinking my gear box will mate up with the ka motor if i keep the 1ltr clutch?????
any help will be greatly appreciated! and if it is possible i will keep you posted on the swap with pics, costs ect......

oh and the HCS 1.3 is carb whereas the 1.3 engine in the ka is fuel injected so the loom would be different anyway. the only way you would keep the loom and mounts is by fitting a HCS 1.3 out of a fiesta mk3.
