West of Scotland RSOC will be holding their 2009 Regional Day at KAMES MOTORSPORT CIRCUIT in MUIRKIRK AYRSHIRE

Date will be Sunday the 17th May

We will have a static show for visiting car clubs , and upto 20 cars on the challenging scottish sprint car championship venue

Everyone welcome to come and enjoy the day, with onsite catering available at the club house cafeteria, with good vantage points around almost the full circuit

Regional Day:-TRACK

There will be 20 spaces available on the track for the regional day.

Track time will cost £40 (including entry)

Cars will go out on track one at a time and do 3 flying laps of the tricky circuit, before exiting at the bottom paddock and going round to queue again, continue this to get as much track time as you can or want

track will start at 09:00hrs until 12:30 and stop for lunch, track will resume again at 13:30 until 16:00hrs

All drivers will have a drivers briefing , and all cars scrutineered before being allowed on track, drivers signing on will start at 07:30

Passengers are permitted and will cost £5 for the day, please note the armbands are not transferable , and all drivers must ensure that all passengers are signed in and indemnity form completed. Marshalls will ensure that all drivers and passengers are wearing armbands before being allowed on track

PLEASE NOTE, THAT HELMETS MUST BE WORN AND THEY WILL NOT BE SUPPLIED BY WOSRSOC

Camping Details


There is a campsite,literally 2 mins walk or 40 second drive to the event!!!

This is very handy.If you have a drink on the Sat night then there is no driving in the Sunday morning.

The campsite has a very clean and up to date shower block with hot and cold running water,ie showers toilets etc!!!

There is also a function suite on the site c/w a bar and entertainment,pool table and some games machines.

A 5 min walks takes you to the town where there is also some pubs and a resteraunt,chip shops and kebab shops and off licences!!!

It is all there folks.

Should be there! It was a good day last year, plenty of cars on track and stands were filled with good quality RS'.
