hi,i see there are loads of different types of these boxes

focus rs has hydrallic clutch,electronic speedo,quaife diff

mk5 rs2000 has cable clutch, speedo cable and different mounting points

im after a gearbox that has a hydrallic clutch,but a cable speedo and the focus style mounting points( top and rear)

do these exsist?

 

i wanted a focus rs box but i didnt know about the elctronic speedo

 

thats what ive been told....same as the st170 box

 

whats it to fit to?

if its to a silver top or a cvh then you need 2 gearboxes.

a focus/mondeo black top petrol gearbox and also a focus TDCi gearbox

you then mount the bell housing of the TDCi box to the petrol rear half making a gearbox with hydrolic clutch and cable sppedo drivewith focus mounting points and also able to fit to a CVH/ Zetec silver top while retaining a petrol gear ratio set instead of the derv gearset.

the st170 box is not an mtx75 either!

i know mk1 mondeos have hydraulic clutch and cable driven speedo, but not sure on the mounting points?
