anyone else had problems with theirs

mines hasn't worked since i owned the car

anyone else fixed theres? what was the problem etc etc

its not uncommon for the heater elements to break, as above check for power and check earth strap...ive had a screen not work on a f reg orion and it turned out to be the relay..it had a timer on it that turned itself off after a set time..it kept turning itself off soon as i switched it on

right what colour is the relay and where is it?

tryed haynes manual no joy from that, got a feeling its the relay

assuming that the wiring is the same as my orion it was a yellow relay in the fuse box..iirc it was marked on the cover...i would try a continuity check on the screen first to make sure the screen isnt fubar..

relay for the front screen is near the fuel pump relay,its got F on the top of it,for Front,god bless ford!

its under the dash drivers side,theres about 4-5 relays on a rack,dont put one with a R on it as it dont work!gotta be a F!
