Default series 1 turbo running problem??????? HELP!

ive recently brought myself a series 1 turbo & it has a slight running fault.

when u 1st start the car in the morning it runs sweet as a nut & idels perfect untill it gets warm & then it idels real lumpy & when driveing it between 1000rpm & 2000rpm it just judders real bad????????????????
but as soon as u apply the throttle it fine & is smooth???????

ive fitted new plugs, leads, distributer cap & roter arm.

could it be the timeing or 1 of the sensors????

any info would be very helpfull

cheers

so did mine, at 3000rpm, the engine started to sound like it were running on 3
cylinders, which it was, it was fine below that, at first i thought it was
the rubber seal (split) on the brake servo which gives extra air to piston number
4 but it was piston number 2, the old cam was worn virtually circular, do not
have a clue how it managed to run ok cause it happened all of a sudden,
yours might be slightly worn
whos knows,
just a suggestion cause 8 hours labour to find the problem on mine..
