Default Temporary insurance/miles

Hello people, im 19 and looking at buying a 4x4 cossie sometime next year, i was going to keep my current car but get one of these as a second car, as i wouldnt want 2 drive it daily and just slowly restore/customise her in my spare time. But just wondering, my friend told me u can get insurance that covers how many miles u do in a year, so i dont have to pay for 2 insurances. If not then ill take her off the road and go from there.

my second car is on a classic policy. it's the 1996 cab in my avatar. I only use it occasionally as I have another car for everyday use. This policy is only on about 3000 miles max.

I will be 20 with two years no claims (touch wood) by the time i get 1 late next year, if nt then i can wait another year till im 21, as i said i might just keep her off the road and make sure its nice 4 when i come 2 drive it, just hope my mum can handle it it being stuck on the drive 4 a while, lol. I know my dad wont mind

mines with RH Insurance at about £190 a year F/C I think. Was only £64 for my MGB valued at £3000. I've had second car policies with them on and off for about 6 years. Best thing is to give them a call. 01277 206911.
