Default how to join to looms to make one

got two looms and need to make one and was wondering on what or how to join each connection
1. soldier and heat shrink or
2 scothch locks
i was really thinking the first option
and does anyone know how to remove the fuse connection from a mk4 escort fuse board

that link does,nt work for me ? and scotch locks no thanks not suitable for any job really but they still are used to fit towbars why! they are CRAP!
