bought an 88 spec rs turbo in white.. the one in my sig. Engine was shagged but the body work is too clean.. have you read this months fastford? Its like the white s2 in there body work wise... 84 k on clock, i fell in love with it and overlooked the engine, give the chap 2 grand and was happy.
Had nothing but problems with the engine, tapping blue smoke, 9 bar accross the cylinders on a compression test so i swapped the engine out my grey s2 and just got to fill the box up and make some brake pipes up to bypass the abs modulators.
Runs sweet now though so all should be good! Its like a brand new car and am happy with it all as ill make the money back breaking the grey one.
Its amazing how much money you can get out of breaking cars, little things like pipes here and there, dash bits and bobs... soon adds up!
As for the white one... just going to keep it 88 spec and get it nice and shiny in the engine bay, its got black and red interior and my mrs is jealous that i spend so much time in her lmao!

What you got in the garage at the minute mate?

My mate sold a quite heavily crash damaged 1.3 Popular shell for Ł350 a few months ago!

It was mega low miles and totally solid, but needed a wing, inner wing, bonnet and rear panel pulled out!
The buyer came over from Ireland for it too......

its very solid mate. Its just had the sills replaced, a little patch near the drivers foot well needs welding on... only about 4 inches by 2 inches!

rear arches have been replaced

rear hangers have been replaced

front floorpanels have been replaced.

The offside rear arch needs rubbing back and feathering back in and a strip on the sunroof needs the same doing but ill probably do that before i sell the shell so its ready to put your bits on!

its in oxford mate, viewing is definately welcome. I was going to wait till most of the bits have been sold before i sell the shell,
If i was to sell it today, the price would have to go up as it has suspension, wheels, brakes, etc all fitted.
Having said that its going to be a pain in the arse moving a car without wheels lol.

All interior would be removed and everthing from the engine bay too.

i am defo interested. depends on whats left to affect the cost.. yeh with no wheels it will be hard to move.. will ruin the underside which is what i want lol. breaking it isnt a problem if you need time.. i need time to find some storage if i do buy it i need to break my rusty one and scrap the shell.
