Anyone built there own sat nav dash mount?
Looking to build a satnav mount to permanently hardwire it into the car, it annoys me having it on display on the windscreen, it looks shit, there are wires hanging down and it gets stuck on and off all the time, leaving a huge ring of spittle.
Looking to mount it somewhere in my s2, out the way but in view when im driving, and probably going to want some kind of screen that covers it when im not in the car.
If anyone has any suggestions or has done this then im interested to see and hear about what they did.
Cheers

yeah thats what i was thinking of doing... hey Karlos, you seen my new car dude? Its the white s2 with raised bonnet that was for sale, its well mint mate, just needs engine setting up. Aint getting a spark at the minute but that is a easy fix, its so nice to have a clean rs turbo man,
Im gonna measure up the satnavs tomorrow and start the build, i am going with garmin as they look smarter and nice and square so its easier to fit them, alot of the models come with bluetooth so i can call the aa from inside my car whilst polishing my helmet when its raining outside
You go to any events mate? Im going to nurburgring next year sometime gonna give it some beans and try and run a 9 minute lap... woooooooooosh
