Does anyone know what is a good paint for things like rocker cover, inlet , exhaust manifold etc?
without going through the price of powdercoating.
cheers

exhaust manifold can be done for £6 with a tin of halfords ally paint, inlet and rocker cover can be done with normal paintif oyu use the right primer (ask at your local bodyshop or paint factors).

rocker cover n inlet n stuff ive always done with standard aerosol cans from halfords kinda deal, standard primer, the lot. its temp rating is easily capable of working on these sort of parts
exhaust manifolds and turbos i always use the VHT (high temp) aerosol cans, colours limited to aluminium or met black, sometimes a weird red if ur that way inclined, no primer needed, and lasts a fair old while so long as ur not constantly knocking n messing with it

for all apart from exhaust side and turbo use 2k paint all the alloy is frost restorations aluma blast for the exhaust manifold and the turbo use manifold grey from frost restorations i garontee it wont come off we have been using this to detail all of our engines for the past few years
