Boost pressure control valve
hi lads a mate of mime has got to swop out his Boost pressure control valve......amal valve he has a big turbo escort cosworth . the thing is he has a black one on his car and he has just got his hands on 4 new ones 2 black and 2 brown is there any diforenc in them and should any of the ports have a restrickter in them and if so which ones thanks for your help

esc cos ones have 2 stubs and no restrictors so make sure youve got the right ones as ive never seen a brown esc cos one before

also the escos one is not an amal vlave, it works completely different to the sierra ones.

the sierra ones just open at a level that the ecu says when the boost is too high.

the escos lectron valves use pulses from teh ecu to acyually control the boot level ( closed loop boost control) , this is normally only avaliable on P8 ecus, however i have noticed that teh RP labs L8 software now offers this

the T piece is important in the setup as it contains the right restrictors for it to work - note in the pic...
