Default Whats this part ive found under my car?????

Ok, i started the car up today and as i moved it out the garage, i heard a little 'ping'. Anyway, thought nothing of it until i spotted this little thing underneath where the engine bay was.

Anyone know what it is as i dont have a bloody clue where its come from?!?!?! It might not even be from the car but thought id check to see if its anythings that fallen off.

If it IS from my car then im sure someone will know on here exactly what it is/does, but if it ISNT from my car i dont have a bloody clue what it is and how its got in my garage!

As above the plastic of the sidelight often snaps and these come off, check which one it is as it can damage your paintwork if it falls out and starts flopping about on the wire

as said the plastic gets brittle with age and snaps, you will need to drill another hole in the lamp.
to stop it happening again stretch the spring slightly to make it longer this then reduces the pressure on the plastic and does stop it breaking.
I had one snap this year at the campsite before ford fair just sat there drinking and my sidelight fell out!!
