I have to remove the sunroof on my saphy, and would need to know if it is better to weld the plate to cover the hole from the outside or from the inside ? Also how tick has to be the plate ? Steel or aluminium ?

 

if you want a perfect job mate get a pro to do it if its just for track pop rivet a plate on from outside

 

Well I'm not looking for a perfect job, but want to weld a plate otherwise it will leak water inside.

Just need some advices hehe and I don't think there is a lot of people who done that mod unfortunately.
