Default Steering ball joint

I'm changing front hubs on a 2WD Sapphire. What's the best way to get the steering ball joint out of the hub? I've taken the nut with the wire thingy (can't remember the name!) off obviously. Bang it out? Lever it out? It is pretty tight.

Thanks,

Charlie

put the nut on a few threads and smack it with a hammer

probably won't be too tight and both the track rod end and nut can be re-used

Use a ball joint breaker.
