not really sure what to do i have a s2 which i cant get working for some silly reason i think its coil or somthing...but im fed up and want a cossie i have 2k saved clearly that isnt enough...i think my s2 would be worth alot if it worked properly...soo should i break the s2 and aim for 1500-2k for it...then pump 4k into a cossie..............also do u htink i would e ble to sell most of the car on here.......the shell is a minter how much are they worth?

 

if you can afford to buy a cossie TWICE then do it . if not id stick with the rst .(cant be that hard to sort and get running good)

granted 4k will get you a fair cossie and as we all know they need working doing especailly if its not been looked after before.

obivously this is my opinion but thats just how i see it . im sure you'll get more responces to this

 

whats happening when you try to start it & what have you done to it since it was last running?

 

it only fires on 3 no matter which way the plugs and leads go round ..i found tdc buy the correct way..new fuel lines....new everything part from coil...im fd up and want a cozzie

dan if u got 2k saved up i would just take it to sterte garage like i said mate they will fix it for bugger all money then spend your 2k on whatever you like...

 

may be an airlock to that injector. turn the ignition to position 2 & press down on the flap on the metering head. pump should come on & pressurise the system

 

i cant drive it to a garage because no insurense and tax ..im not going to risk any points for the old girl......i have lost intrest big time.....i want a 3dorr saff but i cant even find any...all the nice cossie i find are 5door 4wd

thanks man but the only thing ill be doing to the car is removing all the expensive bits to sell.......if anyone want to come and fix it for cash then get ya ass round here ....i really cant be arsed to work on it any more just to fail..its hart breaking

cossies are . 3door(mk1), 4door sapph 2wd and 4x4

where do you live? it will be a simple fix

 

probably why you cant find a 3 door saff; Ford didnt make one

get the S2 running properly would be my advise

Ford did make a non cosworth 3 door with a saph front end they were never offered in the uk tho.
