Wow, not seen a 1200? I used to have the original VCS (predecessor to the 2600), which had wooden panels.

yes with 2 working joy sticks and the paddle controllers and about 40 games

and boxed for a nice Ł20, have one already, but not as nice as this

its the 4 button ones which make real money as they were the early ones, which were made in 1977

 

The game, what everyone remembers is COMBAT, which came with the system

remember each player had a tank and you had to kill each other.

there were a couple a mazes and loads of games, some the shot would bounce off the walls, some the you could bend the shot, by moving the joystick.

had about 10 people in the I.T. office at one point

i had one with a big box of games, i bought it for 45 quid knocked down from 50 off a mate and when i got bored of playing pac man and outrun and donkey kong i flogged it for 75 quid, i was well chuffed with myself at a nice little earner.

also had a atari 800 computer,i got it for doing ok in my exams,if i had done better i was on for a motorbike

 

the orginal unopened games are collector items

Atari was an American company wasn't it? I'm surprised it doesn't have 3 red lights after all this time.
