i have a 1.8 zetec with bike carbs that have been set up by bogg brothers

when i pull the leads for cylinders 1&2 nothing changes.

whin i pull the leads for 3&4 the engine stalls

there is a spark through 1&2 leads

3&4 plugs are jet black which is usually over fuelling but the carbs have just been set up, could it be anything else?

1&2 plugs are just grey.

the car barely accelerates so im guessing all 4 arnt running properly although theres a spark at every lead

any suggestions?

well its more that 1&2 dont seem to be doing anything and the car takes 20 seconds to get to 60 its running that bad.

ive tried another coil but that didnt work

 

Don't feel like going back to the people who apparently set it up?

 

well i was trying to sort the spark just incase its not their fault

but i might have to...

 

u sure it not the way it wire up mate, i know it was wired up bad, but probley been set up wrong

 

i was running injection when you saw it, its on bike carbs now using different management. it only has water temp, cps, coil pack, vacuum and rev counter

which im replacing, that might sort the spark on 1&2.

hopefully.

once i get a spark on 1&2 ill be straight back down to bogg brothers as 3&4 plugs are black...

yeah there new plugs that are in now, well new since the set up a few weeks ago

all i can think is management...
